i'd wear the red boots with long socks or legwarmers pushed down and tights and a mini dress or skirt..

i'd just wear blk leather boots, blk opaque tights and a blk turtle neck
very audrey hepburn and cute...or you could also do ballet flats for a more beatnik look..

I just got a new pair of slim-fitting pants for work. I thought they would be sort of a neutral khaki color. The only problem is that when I put them on this morning, the color was much different than it was in the store. They are more of a beige/grey color than I thought they were originally.

I don't want to return them because a) the salesgirl never gave me a receipt (I was stupid for not checking on this, as she also forgot to give the girl in line ahead of me a receipt and had to chase her down to give it to her after she had already left) and b) the fit is wonderful- very flattering.

I am kind of at a loss as to what color tops and shoes I can wear with them. I had on a black top this morning, but I felt as though it looked all wrong, so I took off the pants and wore a different pair.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've been wearing these boots mostly with jeans, but am wondering about other ways to wear them!

They're kind of a tall ankle boot with the cuff down, and with the cuff up they're a mid-calf...

I actually got them mostly to wear with tights/skirts in winter... but now I'm trying to figure out how to do that in a flattering way. The shaft height seems a bit tricky, since I'm not that tall or long-legged. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

thankyou from the advices with the red ruffle skirt. wore it today with basic black t-shirt, black opaque tights and grey thin cardigan with golden buttons. as shoes i wore grey flats. long pedant golcen necklase x2, and my black long-ish winter coat. felt very chic. hahha.

I think this dress wil look awesome for daily wear with some tan/grey boots (not to tight). But the silver one is harder. maybe some nice patent leather black pumps? im inspiration-less.
