Content: designer Rebecca Taylor hosts the "Steal vs. Splurge" section, which is very pared down compared to past MC eds. Alyssa Sutherland in spring preview. Then, a 2-pg cosmetic/hair ed and MC's obligatory 101 Ideas.
No new ads except for Beyonce for Loreal.
Verdict: A very thin issue for Feburary. I like what I saw, but wish it could be more substantial.

there's also a spring 05 preview section...i think it was about 8-12 pages, all runway shots of the top trends, shoes and bags. similar to the one in jan. bazaar, but more like a scrapbook layout.

That's actually part of the dress! It's by Derek Lam, I think, from his SS05 collection. Natalie Portman wore it to some event. Somehow I like Natalie better in it than Alicia, even though Alicia fills out the top better.

This Kelly Ripa cover is an absolute assault to my eyes.
Inside: Behka Jenkins and Lindsay F. and another model that I can't recognize. It's a very spring-y issue, with many designer looks, but didn't quite cature the exuberance on the runway.

I went magazine shopping last night and bought...

"Wedding Bells" which is Atlantic Canada wedding magazine. I wanted to see if there are any nice gown shops near me.

I also bought the In Style Wedding book.

and I bought Woman's Day Quick & Easy Knitting & Crochet, the premiere Issue.

I almost bought an exercise magazine, I think it was called Oxygen but I started flipping through it and realized that I already know everything they have, ie. exercise moves, diet tips, so I put it back.
