What Vitamins do you take ?

I take daily:Two hylauronic acid tablets-really good for your skin. also I take a Vitamin D tablet, two Fish Oil Omega 3 Concentrate capsules, and 2 multivitamins by a company called Realfood Organics, they are pricey but they're the first multivitamin that did more than just make my pee neon. :D

Seriously, I have so much energy now from taking these, they are called Ultimate Daily Nutrition and they provide 2 servings of your daily fruits and vegetables intake.
 
I recently stopped taking all of the supplements I was taking (evening primrose + vit e, vit c + zinc and vit b complex) and I actually feel better not taking them. I don't get it...maybe one of them wasn't very good for me?
 
Did you remove anything else from your immune system? Sugar is really horrible for our immune system, makes us more prone to sickness and illness so I am trying to cut that out completely...I rarely EVER get sick so I know I have a healthy immune system thankfully.

Also, maybe they werent a brand of vitamins that had enough percentages of the vitamin to actually make a difference? science and our bodies are amazing discoveries.
 
No, it's strange because I took vitamins for ages and then just stopped for a couple of days and felt better than I have in a while. I thought I'd feel worse not taking anything. Perhaps it's coincidence? Maybe I'll try taking them again one at a time and see how it makes me feel.
 
Perhaps you were taking the wrong sort of vitamins etc & it was creating an imbalance?
 
I dont really believe in taking vitamins. I think you should rather try to eat all necessary vitamins with your food, rather then take them as pills
 
a multi and an iron tablet - two during 'girl time' - I've noticed the difference in energy levels! I was taking fish oil to make my skin less dry, but it started making me sick so I stopped =[
 
^You know, instead of fish oil you can take flaxseed tablets. I hated the fish oil as well, but I've had no problem with flaxseed.
 
I take a multi vitamin, vitamin D, and an iron pill. I've recently started taking iron because I've been so exhausted and I've noticed a bit of a difference in energy levels :smile:

and also is their a vitamin that can help improve circulation?

B12 indirectly helps attach oxygen to your blood, which can increase circulation (as most people with circulation issues need more oxygen transport) maybe try that? I've never taken it personally but usually recommend it to my patients with diabetes and elders. :flower:
 
I want my hair and nails to grow faster so I'm taking Biotin. It really works.

I'm also taking fish oil, but I'm not seeing any results for my skin. I've still got a huge jar of capsules to go through!
 
I take so called " from A to Z" vitamin complex which contains various most important vitamins for our organism
 
Just out of curiosity, you know how vegemite is supposedly a rich source of vitamin B? Does that make it as effective as perhaps taking vitamins for vitamin B? :P

I think you should take as many vitamins as possible in food or drink form, and not in supplement form. Supplements are not replacements for vitamins in a balanced diet (hence the name 'supplement') so if you have enough B12 through Vegemite and other sources, then it should be okay. :wink:
 
just got fish oil capsules, will see how it works, but those capsules are so huge, don't know if it'll be hard to take them
 
I just bought a bottle of flaxseed oil capsules. The recommended daily intake on the bottle says 2 pills. But each capsule is 1300 mg already (not to mention it's huuuuge). So I was just wondering, for those who take flaxseed oil, how many mg do you take each day?
