New item, a black cotton military style jacket by Les Hommes. I did some serious drooling on the $1k tag and walked away. I just can not justify such spending on clothes.

a pair of high heeled-round toe slouchy boots in blk suede...pierre hardy did an amazing pr this fall, but they were a fortune...plus they completely sold out!!! :cry:

i want something sort of gypsy.bohemian...but rich looking... :heart:

i definitely think of my wardrobe as a collection that i am building...i think everyone should shop that way and i advise everyone to do so...invest in good pieces that build on the things you already have...find the holes and fill them...and shop without regret or guilt!!! :wink:

absolutely! i think it's a natural progress anyway. At least it was for me. First you get all the basics, then you start looking for real pieces of art. It's come to the point for me where I don't mind buying just one thing a season, but it has to "wow" me. So, it's not really shopping anymore, it's collecting.

Oooh, those boots are really lovely.

Me, I don't have anything I really want to get for myself, but I wish I had some operating cash for my business, as I need to buy some bolts from the wholesaler so I can do some sample dresses. *sigh*

I'm in a catch 22--I need money to put into my business so I can make some money, but I need to make some money so I can put it back into my business. I could weep. :cry:
