different name for drop crotch pants

- I am wanting some drop crotch pants. I really dislike saying "drop crotch", I wish there was another term for them.
- Lace up boots (Ann D.)

There are some different names for this type of pants: sarouel, zouave or aladdin pants. Personally I like the name sarouel (also written as sarwel or saroual). In Holland these pants are sometimes called 'drollenvanger' which means 'poop catcher' (ugly! that's why I think these pants won't ever become popular in Holland :(). If people only knew how wonderful these pants feel like...

I like those other names especially Aladdin, reminds me of David Bowie. But, drollenvanger!..thats worse than "drop crotch".:o

It may sound lame but I don't care.
I really would like the Viktor and Rolf for H&M Trench Coat.
Can anyone help me out? :)

greatscott200: i have it in black, but i've never worn it. in a size 6.

I want a Yves Saint Laurent Besace bag, or Frye's owen crepe boots.

I need a clutch. All of my bags are huge and I need a clutch to go to my friend's wedding. Any suggestion??? I would lvoe to get a BV knot clutch or nancy gonzalez exotic clutch. BV clutch is a bit more than what I want to spend tho. I have seen NG exotics on sale, but havent found the right one yet. If anyone sees nice NG cutch on sale, please let me know.

are you signed up for any online sample sale sites?

places like ideeli.com, hautelook.com and gilt.com often have sample sales by designers that include clutches below retail prices...

you might find something you like there...
not necessarily bottega or nancy gonzalez but there are a wide variety of brands and there's something different nearly every day..

if you're in a hurry to get the clutch though a sample sale might be a bit of a waiting game because you never know what will be on there...

there is a handbag suggestions thread in the handbag section of the forum that might be helpful to you :flower:

Would you consider R&Y Augousti? They definitely do lots of exotic materials and their prices are far below Nancy Gonzalez's clutches.

This red Cammie Hill bag! It's $268. I love it so much. Everyone knows red is my color, and the interesting ruffles are so irresistible.

Also, the Moschino Melted Chocolate Bag. I've been on the hunt for it since mid 2006, but I will have to wait to be able to afford it anyway. It was originally launched in 1996 and re-launched in 2003. It's quirky, chic, and functional. Perfect for me. For now, I can only dream.
