Yay or Nay - Hairstyles and Colours

Long hair! I got a super short boy cut a few years ago (back when Kate Moss did hers - it looked great on her, but HORRIBLE on me) and it was probably my biggest hair mistake ever. Thankfully, my hair is almost to my elbows now and I'm trying to grow it another 6 inches or so

Parted to the side and shorter and rounder. You have a bit of a longer face, I think, so it might be good to even everything out.

My hair is now brown with blonde highlights (like the picture of Jessica Alba and every other girl in my city). I have naturally dark brown hair and I am not sure what to do.....keep it the same, dark brown or auburn.

before you get ur haircut check the Seventeen magazine (October 2004) it has the PERFECT thing for you on ur perfect haircut for every shaped face ( round,square,heart,oval) and shows tons of stars hairstyles! If you can't access the mag,just get advice from ur hairstylest!

I think it looks a bit dated and not edgy enough. Do you think it would look better if there was a heavier fringe/bangs and it wasn't so fluffy on top?

My opinion is but again it could be because I don't like the model's face or makeup... but the hair style reminds me too much of a little kid.

Too true - your cut really should be based on based on your face shape, oval faces have the best options as they are lucky enough to suit most styles. heart shaped, i think should avoid a short fringe. and square jaws need to avoid 'framing' the jaw line...

At the moment i'm sporting an off centre 'rat tail' with short on the right side (again with a point coming along the cheak, and growing the left side longer with a sweeping frring to the left. I'm really into pink at the moment so there are 3 pink patches one through the 'tail.

Long hair is cool but to much like hard work to keep - for that reason i've got a really cool wig, much easier to care for
Then i get the best of both - short hair for the managablity - long for the glamour

Whenever I see people who I know dye their hair blonde.. it always looks unnatural....

I'm a firm believer in sticking with what you're born with.... with maybe a little enhancement...
