Your Must-Watch Fashion Show Recommendations...

This show was apparently inspired by a dark dream and he brought the set to life a young girl lost in the forest while only wearing black and white and slight bits of flowers absolutely brilliant and the music fits the set

For the real serious Alexander McQueen fans this is the last show where he was really nasty and raw we never saw him work like this again

After this collection he cleaned everything up and he was on to the Gucci group.

voss came right after this... he cleaned his act up after what a merry-go-round (autumn-winter 2001)

Hi all. What are some fashion shows that you think one MUST watch? They can be your favourites, or something that is truly iconic or culturally significant.
Share away!
Versace SS2008, very iconic soundtrack to go alongside some classic lates noughties pieces, plus some famous faces walking of course. If you haven’t already there’s some great footage of it to watch on youtube!

Great casting, great show to listen to at the gym

Voss is the cross over to professionalism. Pure artistic but lots of great things to wear particularly the section where he shows the baby pink and baby blue long shirts and tight trousers very clean show excellent staging.

his early shows always had those ultra-wearable sequences though. untitled/golden shower was chock-full of pragmatic, excellently tailored separates; number 13 had several covetable dresses, as did bellmer la poupée... i'd actually argue that his shows became a bit more laboured after the gucci group acquisition, and included more showpieces than his previous shows (sarabande; in memory of elizabeth howe, salem 1692; the girl who lived in the tree; the horn of plenty; plato's atlantis, etc.)

This is why I will always find his early work from 90s the best. He managed to design clothes that were raw and full of emotions without sacrificing the wearability or making them overly precious. "Tight" budget definitely worked in his favour.

This edit with sing-along is so cute, not a full show but Chaos (Charlotte Stockade and her business partner Katie) edited this
Though Karl said it was not Sound of Music-related
