Enjoyed most of the Jil Sander show too.

Massively underwhelmed by the last two years in fashion, it seems to be in a state of puberty and stagnation. I feel its desperate grasp on the internet and social media has it in a chokehold, an attitude directed towards facebook 'likes' and twitter trends has largely stifled creative development and placed on pause those moments that make your heart miss a beat. For now at least, Isabella Blow it ain't.

Pucci (I think I was the only one who liked Pucci, though, lol)

Contrary to what I see a lot of other people saying here, I quite enjoyed the season! It was colorful, focussed on couture like design without being hard to the body and for some reason I sort of like the whole bare midriff movement, New York's utilitarian/athletic themes and the underwater story of Paris.

My absolute favorite collection of the season incorporated all of the above (except for the bare midriff:( Givenchy: I loved the story Tisci told of a romance between a surfer and a mermaid yet created an incredible modern collection, desirable and wearable.

Others that I really liked:

Vera Wang: don't know why everyone was so hard on this collection. i thought it was quite a fresh direction for her and it looked great.

Donna Karan: tribal done right and body-con done right.

I did not like enough stuff to even create a list as I have been, once again, very disappointed with what has been on offer during the month. Nothing moved me or excited my senses.

I enjoyed most of what I saw at Maison Martin Margiela and the power of Givenchy, but I am just not getting the spark that fashion once had. I keep asking myself when this will change !

^You're right.:smartass:

Nothing will be like before! sad but true! Just try to imagine that something has changed see Dolce & Gabbana :flower:, I could not stand Sartorialità Sensualitá Sensibilite boringté advancé

I agree with everyone who was disappointed with this season. I had a hard time coming up with enough shows to fill a list of 10.

Overall, a pretty lackluster season. What went right went really right, and what went wrong went really wrong; There was a major lack of inspiration and passion.
