YSL and I&V traded down imo. They went from that gorgeous, slightly sensual campaign last season to this crap?

I could easily have taken this shot myself, and that's not me just exagerating how much I dislike them. I actually could achieve this with veyr little effort.

It's the pseudo-intelligence behind them that's killing me cause at the end of the day Kate's smashing her face up against a window just like every 5 year old in the world has done at least once.

I agree...I'm not feeling these at all. The collection had a hint...well, maybe more than a hint...of surrealism to it, I wish that could have been carried through to the campaign.

However, what bothers me most about these shots are the writing on the window!...it does not look like it's on the window, it looks like someone took the pictures and doodled on them in Microsoft Paint So terribly distracting!

Last seasons were mysterious and had more of a mood to it, even a story...these however look like something out of a US Vogue editorial, and that is NO compliment!

Kate's expression is kinda weird, but I like the concept! Clothes really stands out.

brings to mind betty catroux which is a good thing, but i much prefer last season's. these are just not as appealing to me. the shots look like they're from those harper's bazaar editorials with the city as a background (particularly those "highlights from new york" editorials they put out after the shows). however, the clothes do stand out.
