I really hope that Kate has a good reason for not showing up tonight. After everything Alexander has done for her it is pretty ****ty not to show up for something of this magnitude that is all about honoring him, one of her best friends.

Yes.

I'm a bit pleased that Kate and Björk didn't show up for this media circus. Surely the theme was McQueen but it's pretty evident it was everything but a tribute to his work. God knows what else went behind this. I think anyone that's actually been an admirer and true supporter of McQueen's work right from the beginning of his career (and not just after Lagy Gaga or his death or The Royal Wedding happened) doesn't really need to join this type of celebrations, their contribution has already been done.

Now about Arizona - I don't think any pictures of her have been posted so far besides that one. She was one of the very few models I was trying to find in this event.

I have an idea as to why Kate didn't show up. Maybe she was so close to him that if she had seen the exhibit, she would have felt very emotional. I wish she did show up because she would have done some justice to this attrocity of an event, but I kind of understand why she wouldn't want to be there. Anyways, this was a failure. Let's hope that next year, people actually read the invitation and pay attention to the theme.
