I honestly think Jennifer Hudson could take singing lessons from Adele. Sorry; not meaning to offend any of Jennifer's fans, but Adele's voice is so clear and real, and no screeching.

The problem with Jennifer is she hasn't grasped self-contol. If she learnt that, it would distinguish the more pinnacle moments of the songs.

Jennifer Hudson is not a talented vocalist IMO, she has a powerful voice but at the heart of singing is control, something she desperately lacks and Adele has a good grip on. I'm liking Adele's hair, nice to see it down.

What does that even mean? I love that she puts so much emotion into her performances.
That's what makes them so moving. She doesn't hold back. I think if a performance is too robotic, it can be boring.

Again, I don't understand the need to compare. All the musical performances have been impressive tonight imho.

I am divided concerning Adele's speech: she uses too much swear words for my liking and sounds too vulgar for that reason, sorry if I am being to sensitive about that but I just don't like that

^I guess it's part of the job to campaign and lots of them do; I do get the impression that women do it more than male actors though (remember Kate Winslet or Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman or Julia Roberts to mention a few...)

Women have to work harder to get what they want. That's probably why they campaign so much.

Well, listen, to each their own on the singing thing; it's a taste thang. I just never liked the Diva style of singing, even during the disco days and the original divas!

Nicole is a natural on stage. Loved her.

Amour looks so good; I haven't seen it yet, but I loved The White Ribbon.
