Absolutely not defending what JG has done in the past, no way.
All i know for sure is that he wasn't the worst person to report to in Margiela for the past few years that is for sure
but then again we all know John is explosive af. but he is not malicious like some other CDs and their CEOs actually
this is my personal experience of him.

I mean before the videos came out the Dior years. Margiela i know some stuff but i drawn the parallel of the Dior years to AM Gucci years.

Same for AM at Valentino it's not as Gucci for different reasons, he is more toned down as he is new there and not all people are loyal to him so people will talk faster if he says or act in an unfavorable way to his image.

I just find it interesting both champion so many esthetics of other cultures and women and behind the scene its the opposite with their remarks.

I liked your point regarding women actually. So many of them champion women and that they love them in any size and shape bla bla. Some of JGs colleagues actively fail to do so and say sh*t about plus size girls at castings. I absolutely despise this and see it a lot in my job actually. It really gets on my nerves. Id rather the CD didn’t say anything about loving women than lying about it to the whole wide world and then also failing to create anything for plus sized women above size 4

i know female stylist like this but no CD´s personally, toxic female Design directors yes, toxic female casting directors yes. toxic female merch or general managers or pr directors yes HR directors or recruiters ohh yes

but i think the different toxic behaviors for males or female are different is reasons and how it manifest, sure there are similarities absolutely .....i think it's an whole other conversation, i would love to know the science of toxic behaviors at work in general and the differance their might be between male or females.

i am sure harvard or some one did a study, if anyone know pls share i am curious to read

PR and HR are in another league thats for sure.. dont wanna be dramatic but corporate departments are hell on earth .

Both would 2 seconds later go back to choosing a chinese embroidery after just saying the mist vile racist thing about the same race as if nothing happened.
same on say something like woman should not have breast/big breast its annoying to my design etc while the studio is full of woman.

Next time buy yourself a book on women's tailoring about this area and ostentatiously read it during your lunch breaks, of course if in this pathology there is time to eat and use the toilet.

No matter what good things CDs have to say about human beings to fool us into buying their products, at the end of the day it is still corporate at its core like America selling Starbucks and McDonald's around the world. Like their masters, I have never expected CDs to be of high morality but it is still sad to learn that some of them are horrible people.

Ok so in contrast to the nasty diva behaviours (which is no surprise in this industry) of some creative directors and their teams, Is there anyone in the industry who could be described as nice or decent? I have a few ideas of who that could be, but as they say you don’t know what happens behind closed doors.
