Alexander McQueen F/W 14.15 Paris

The atmosphere was wonderful, so are the details, but the silhouettes are the same as always - boring.

Does anyone have a pic of Sarah's inspiration wall for this collection? I wonder where all the inspiration came from, 'cause it's so devine.

I find it's difficult to understand McQueen's groove these days.

Getting quite tired with her stuffy costume looking dresses...

For whatever reason, there's something about this collection that reminds me of John Galliano, and I do like that. I love the mood of the collection.

Poor Sarah, this brand is too big for her. Time to move on! Replace her!

^^ Yes! I miss Galliano so much.

This collection's tone is dark, romantic and gothic, I usually love anything with that but not this. I did like the make up, the set and the final look. The set is really what brings this collection to life, its perfect.

I admit I lost all interest in the brand since Lee passed away...I mean, who can live up to him? Who can truly be happy with where the brand is going, minus his genius?

I really like what she's TRYING to do...I'm all for gothic romance, and there are some really beautiful pieces here, whereas most other collections are lacking in imagination and beauty these seasons...but...everything here seems so clichéd! Even the Bjork soundtrack...Whereas Lee would never have been clichéd, ever.
It's all in the execution, not the idea.

It's just not fair to her, she is a very good designer in her own right...she should have her own line or be somewhere else, just not have to take over McQueen.

I hate how I'm so negative so I'll just go away. LOL!

I'm in love with every single dress this collection has to offer. They're so beautiful and intricate. I LOVED the dreamy baroque feel. Wasn't feeling the fur coats though. MUCH better than last season!!
