I love this waistcoat (although it gives me Dior Homme by Slimane vibes )

The rest is very "MehQueen" to me.

If anything at all, this cape coat would be a close resemblance to similar designs by Hedi Slimane and Nicolas Andreas Taralis - Although by all fairness, I'd rather the McQueen design team would lift from such inspirations than to literally take ruffles and gowns from the womenswear and think those can ever be a convincing menswear proposition.

That being said, it's nice to see this collection missing any such missteps for once and seemingly lacking any pieces with obvious logos in the presentation. The cut and proportions on all these looks is pleasant, sometimes it can then be enough to just show an interesting short sleeved sweater with a pair of high waisted straight leg pants if the cut is just right!

The amount of suiting looks is a bit repetitive and it's a shame only they didn't think of lighter jacket/trouser sets more suitable for warm weather, as most of this makes no sense in warm climates.

first thing I thought was ‘this looks like Dior’.
she’s been on the Dior side for a corola of seasons now…

Pre-Fall was much much better! the suits are nice but it lacks something.
