I agree with the Giger influence reference very much... but also there is a strong organic/nature influence as well. lots of lovely pieces

sigh. im so glad i can finally see the entire collection (thanks btw). after seeing it all, i love it. i love the shapes and the dresses towards the end with all the prints. im surprised by how much i like the prints actually, he sold me.
i really dont like the dresses in the middle with the flower details, the shape it creates on the dress i don't find appealing.

oh, and i love the hair! yay mcqueen

Im definitely blown away by some of the pieces, like the fringe dresses and the sequin ones at the end are so beautiful but some things are hideous like those yellow pants but overall i like the collection, and I think it will photograph amazingly well.

I agree... S/S 07 took my breath away, really. so magical. I do like this quite a bit though... I'm not disappointed. it's very well done and has great concepts, and is very McQueen. honestly the last 2 seasons were rubbish... so maybe this one just seems great in comparison but either way, I'll take it. I need some of those Giger looking bits in my life

I need to look at this collection a few more times before I can really form an opinion.
It's not something that strikes me as loving immediately.. but we shall see.

I think it looks cool, will make great editorials. McQueen is one of the very few shows and collections I care about as non-fashionisto.

balenciaga ? never ! though i spotted a very last season balenciaga dress. but i know mcqueen did sthg similar. then ......

a lot of those reminds me the robot/handicap collection (maybe mainly because of the hair ... and leather corset). i really like the work on animals prints.
there seems to be a declinaison of the bells dress he did for bjork WIT.
a sexier way .... a lot more sexiest !!!!!!!

it looks like a givenchy couture show without all the drama and new energy.

i'm loving the set. AMAZING !
there were a lot of animal themes in exhibition this past year in france. animal was a big thematic trend here ....

but i"m just not loving the bunny final.....
