All About Your Jeans...

My Dior Homme jeans in ultra faded black. Don't know what they're called.

i'm a big jeans fan. but i've always stuck to boot-cut styles. recently i caved in and bought a skinny jean when i was on holiday (everyone else was wearing skinny jeans in tokyo. i was under extreme pressure to conform!) and guess wat - i love it too.

Much the same: i'm totally addicted to jeans:heart:, I think I have only 1 pair of trousers which are not jeans... I used to wear boot cut for ages and now I'm looking only for skinny jeans! Match it with any kind of boots and it will make my day! :woot:

^ i really like those jeans B) any more information on them... where i could find them :innocent:

My favourites are mid-wash to light (somewhere in between) straight cut, low-rise jeans.

I am very short (4'11), and also very slim (37kg)...i find straight cuts make my legs look longer. I have such a hard time finding jeans though, because even if something does fit me in the waist/hips, the thigh area is ALWAYS baggy on me! :(

I was never into really dark denim because i got the impression it made me look even smaller than i already am (dark colours are slimming right?). However, im not into really light denim..somewhere in between.

What do u think? Do u think dark denim looks ok on short, thin girls, or slightly lighter to mid-wash looks better? I'm contemplating getting skinnies too! Not sure if they'd make me look shorter? As like some of you said, jeans that touch the ground elongate the legs! So would skinnies stump me?

My favourite pair are these from Acne Jeans. I wear them with boots, lacoste sneakers or flats.

I think a pair of Acne would suit you (even though I'm tall). The waist is a little bit higher which makes you look taller and the colour is perfect

I just bought a pair of Rock&Republic jeans and they fit me like a GLOVE. And its very hard for me to find a nice pair of jeans. Well worth the splurge. :D

i live for jeans. i adore my hudsons (sooo long even for me and im 5'11.5-6"). my sevens are nice but too many people wear sevens so im bored with them. im buying rock and republics soon, i looked last week and they didnt have the right colored R's that i was looking for. they make em long too. citizens are nice but im having trouble finding ones long enough. i would have bought true religions ages ago but their inseams are short. i want a pair of skinny jeans for my tall boots. i actually have a couple pairs of older bebe jeans that fit nicely as well. i dont like the look of new bebe jeans. i wear my jeans with nikes, flats, boots, metallic sandals...pretty much anything.

Nearly all of my jeans are by Armani Jeans and I love them. They really maintain their fit and quality very well. I'm not really the type for baggy jeans, I like the more slim, stylish cut.

I'm not into giddy denim, especially not on boys. There's mostly been super-skinny jeans in my wardrobe for a looong time...I've had serious problems finding jeans small and tight enough, since I'm a guy with a 26-27#waist. The stuff I've got is from Helmut Lang, Dior Homme, APC, Raf Simons and Acne, which I resisted buying for years cause of their Scandinavian teenager status, but now the black Ramones-inspired pair from this a/w is my fave.

I also love my oilcloth ones by Dior Homme and Raf Simons' double-layered poplin pair with ripped knees. Then there's the cherished Levi's customized by Bless and some painted Margiela numbers...Almost everything's black/gray/indigo, not a big fan of funny washes.

my favorite jeans are my j brand black straight legs. i wear them with everything-flats, sneakers, heels, boots. they have the perfect amount of stretch, and are extra comfortable. i practically live in them

The Raf Simons jeans sound amazing and the custom Levi's also sounds cool, always a fan of customized Levi's from the pics I see of different versions (I think it was in 10 magazine or was it V Man?)...and if you're referring to the 'Cash' model by Acne, I like those a lot...and they seem priced a lot more reasonably than Dior Homme's black gabardine jeans!

Which are the oilcloth Dior jeans you speak of? The orange overdyes?

My favorite jeans are my True Religion Billy's worn w/ and orange BDG ringer tee, brown belt, and brown shoes.

I love wearing jeans, I have just about every wash-from light and torn to almost black(and lots of blues in between). I'd have to say that despite the regularity of it, I love Juicy Jeans, the fit-length-and moderate flair are perfect for me. Other than that I have sevens that I never touch anymore. There's also a french brand that I have 2 pairs of that fit well as well. blu something. Although I have to say, I've developed a really sad liking towards express jeans. Mainly because they're cheap and I can get two sizes smaller than I typically am, and the editor jeans are nice to go out in. (and they come in long and short, I can't buy pants that aren't long).
Either way, I love wearing heels, boots, and stilettos with jeans. I've never been a sneaker person.

The DH jeans are from a/w 2003, they did loads of different wax/gloss treatments back then, though mine are matte Barbour-style oilcloth in off black/brown. Customised Levi's are from the Bless Basics collection, I think it's 2002 or 2003 as well...

As you can tell by my nickname: Rock & Republic ^_^ I don't mind the long inseams (I'm 5.5) Power to the seamstress who hems them all!

They make me look long and lean and the washes are nice.Frankie B. is the runner up.I love low rise jeans
