Animals at the fashion shows

^ OMG After they cruelly get all his 'prescious' fur he is still alive and is just left to die

This is simply awful

Yeesh, what is wrong with having dogs walk down the runway? It's not like the designer went out hunting and caught the dog.

I think everyone can agree that killing the animals is aweful, but just because they did that, why do we have to call the couture ugly? I think that clothing can still be beautiful, even if it used to be alive.

And galliano. I don't think we should take it so seriously. I don't think that he was trying to bring down anybody by having a black model wear torn clothes.

I would never kill so many animals for fashion as he did though.

I'm surprised Gareth Pugh stuffed rats aren't already here..... this is sooo funny!!!
it reminds me of this sequence in Ghostbusters when a girl wearing a fur is walking down the streets and then because of something the fur came "alive".... and all the chinchillas running away...

Huh.... those bird on Theyskens' shoes don't look real to me. There's a good bit of fake bird, ya kno? Not all animals you see on runways must be real.

This is quite cute I think but not too sure on the whole animals on the runway thing...

I think it's okay to use dogs in those shows as long as they are kept away from the stress back stages and someone makes sure that they have water as soon as they leave the stage.
Lots of dogs are used to dog shows and this is not so much different from that.
Also dog's clothing is alright since some breeds need to wear cloths such as chines crested and chihuahuas. But i don't like when dogs are dressed up in dresses that are uncomfortable and restrains them to move normally.
But I thing it's wrong to use Furr and could anyone post a picture from the McQueen show with the wolves and Husky's or just tell me what year it was^_^

And by the way i think this picture, the girl with the Afghan Hound adorable it's like the girl and the dog have a connection

I saw that video!! It was soo funny,

The picture of the dog in snowboots does look very embarassed...it looks to be a border collie of some sort...my border collie gets embarassed when we put clothes/snowboots on her as well...she gives this look like "screw you...I look ridiculous"...but they protect her little paw pads from the snow/ice...

I don't see anything wrong w/dogs on the runway...most have on organization breathing down their back making sure the animals are taken care of anyway! (which I think they should)...and also as someone said before...most of the breeds shown here are showdogs...such as afghan hounds, chinese crested, etc...plus my friend has a chinese crested (long hair) and it loves to wear clothes...it can help with fear/anxiety in some dogs to wear sweaters/tee-shirts, etc

I thought this was supposed to be a thread about animals on the runway...not dead animals used for the clothes...wouldn't that fall under fur, etc? Not a pro/anti-fur debate...

Also, those birds obviously were not alive when put on the shoe...either stuffed already (birds do not have miraculously long lives usually)...or fake...not live...give me a break...

I'm sure these animals are nice and relaxed behind the scenes with all of the madness. Not like there's anybody stressed out or anything. And what if they do have to go to the bathroom?

Love this show (Jean Paul Gaultier FW 06):

I don't think it's wrong for an animal to be used in catwalk show...it's just like they're going on a really glamorous walk, and instead of the dirty sidewalk, they're being walked down a mirrored runway! I'd be happy!

The animal and the model should have a good understanding before the show, like when the cat growling, that mean the cat is angry (or in slang, pissed).
other, it will end like this (sry, i know it is very mean but to laugh at the reporter, but ):
