Are stars the new skulls ?

i'm not feeling the stars...it's a bit tacky to me!

I think stars can make clothes look a bit 80s, either 80s or emo. They can easily make something look tacky imo.

I only really like stars in jewelry really, or in the hair (as Kiera K demonstrated).

since im obsessed with stars (yes the actual stars in the sky) and everything with stars on it etc etc (i have stars on the ceiling above my bed, star blankets, star pillows, etc etc) ive been wearing clothes/accessories with stars on it for ages!! although i dont wear it as much as i used to since it has become this H&M trend...

it's weird because in Italy stars have finally started to disappear after like 2 years of crazyness. I'm not talking about designers pieces, but there was this trend and everything started to come with stars on it. sweatchers, tshirts, earings, tattooes.. most of the people that actually followed that trend listened house music. so it was a "small" group of people..

so maybe designers saw these people while walking in milan during fashion week?

Anyway, the stars thing was big in Southern Cali a few years ago, with hardcore suburb kids getting nautical stars tattooed on them. I bet that trend hurt a bit, huh?

I don't think I've ever been so excited about a possible trend. I'm obsessed with Stars as a shape. All of my tattoos have stars in them.

But I do hope they play around with it a bit, it seems very hit and miss with what I've seen.

yeah same! i have star tattoos as well...not in the 'obvious' places though...people always tell me how unusual and special they think my tattoo and the place of it is...
i def dont like HUGE star prints...like a shirt with stars all over (i have ONE dress with stars all over...but the stars are only outlined which makes it less...intense) except for that i love accessories, as long as they are not bright coloured...reminds me too much of this 'new rave' trend...

I was going to say I don't really like stars... but then I remembered I have one tattooed on my neck so I like them to some degree?

But as far as stars on hoodies, etc. I find that to be horribly disconcerting. But, the miu miu isn't too bad (as unoriginal as it may or may not be). The Chanel on the other hand...
