Just that her phenotype is more pronounced towards the spectrum of Japanese/Asian.

Well I've actually met Issa and she identifies as mexican. And you can see it too, look for videos or interviews where she says she's mexican.

For sure! No one will say otherwise.

At the same time like maimon said, she's half Japanese (her father), so she still qualify as Asian too.




Just a couple questions:

1) Should Issa be considered Latino or Asian, both? Or just Mexican.

2) From here on out should we count or exclude her when it comes to shows and for statistical data, relating to Asian models?

If memory serves correctly, Jing Wen is the first Asian to land a Chloe campaign, if true, this is incredibly amazing! Asian girls are so fitting for the brand and its aesthetic/message. If Fei Fei, Xiao Wen, Cong, Bonnie, Luping or Liu Wen can't get it - my bet would've been Jing. Glad she got it!


Regarding Prada, it's great to hear the continuation and inclusion of Asian faces.
