Gisele Bündchen Gets a Buzz Cut for Balenciaga

When Gisele Bündchen walked the runway at Balenciaga's fall show in February, people were seriously surprised. The 33-year-old supermodel's got Tom Brady and two adorable kids at home (one-year-old Vivian and four-year-old Benjamin), and she rarely tears herself away to walk runways anymore. But now that Alexander Wang's at the helm of Balenciaga, it seems like Gisele will do anything for her friend—including star in his new ad campaign while sporting a buzz cut, no less.

As Wang told WWD, "This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga; strong, powerful, mysterious and uncompromising." Mission accomplished: Gisele definitely looks like one badass babe here—even if she's barely recognizable as you know, Gisele Bündchen.

I would almost say they photoshopped another guys hair on her head, because I don't think she would cut off her long hair.

I think we're all too used to seeing Gisele dolled up but surprisingly this is working for me. The image is a true testament to how fantastic a model Gisele really is. You have to hand it to the post-production team who've made Gisele's buzz cut look extremely realistic too!

Gisele overdose but this is the best use of her in a long time. Don't care for her other campains that serve the same old Gisele. I love how androginous and severe she looks it makes her so much more interesting. Very striking image, love the broken mirrors. I can't wait to see more.

It was a bald cap that took two weeks to make, no photoshop except for some cleaning.

Amazing shot, it's such a pity it's wasted on such a terrible collection. When i read that gisele was in this i thought '...oh', but it's actually great.
