Balenciaga S/S 2010 : Iselin, Lisanne, Mirte and Patricia by Steven Meisel

Don't you think it was intended? For me all the things like one hand over another, the fact some models are put horizontally and others vertically, one of them is bigger than others, it all suggest that "cutting with a pair of scissors and gluing it on" was done fully delibaretely.

Yes, of course it was intended, but I think that something is fully intended doesn't necessarily mean it is good, beautiful or at least meaningful. IMHO it just looks bad and amateurish.

I think the campaign shows off the looks wonerfully especially when you see them in magazines. But I think the campaign could have used something "wild" or "edgy" as a theme for this campaign. Something like Raquels Ed in W for February would have been a good example.

Oh my word. When I saw Iselin and Meisel pitted together, my expectations soared. This is beyond awful, especially considering the who's who in all of this.

Thanks, that may be my favorite one of the bunch.

no one can convince me that this looks good. The ad appears like someone was playing around wih photoshop for 10 mns just for fun.

The styling is so sick that I can overlook the actual advertisement. Work, Iselin.

All right, I think I've warmed my feelings towards this campaign a little. As much as I hated it in the beginning, it's O.K. now.

i wish the background just wasn't that colour, black would have been better

it looks SO eighties advertisement to me .. seeing the contrast betweent that and the clothes makes my head goes "uh?" if that was the effect they were going for, Congrats!

Otherwise I dont like .... actually Im regretting to put it as I type .. its different and rsique and well styled .. yo go, girl!

Am I the only one sensing any 90s nostalgia in this campaign? The setting, poses and and even choice of colors in some? I absolutely dig this way more than I ever could those horrible catalogue-looking Jennifer Connelly poses on ****ing furniture.. I mean seriously... This concept is pushing the minimal style everywhere now.. more modesty, more plain-'bout the clothes..

I must say, the moment I saw it on print, I changed my mind. Mostly because the star of this campaign is Iselin and how the other girls blend into the minimal look, they don't overpower it. There are no artifices. I like that.
