Burberry Prorsum F/W 09.10 Milan

I can't see anything new but I love it...
Burberry is always urban and this is something that I like.

Burberry collections always seems to be an extension from the last collection but I always love it.

This is pretty and wearable but it is interesting?

Personally, I'm disappointed with Christopher this year! This is lacking in direction first of all. Secondly, its boring; theres no unique details to lift it ie. necklaces, bags, hats, shoes, accessories.

Also I don't know how to feel about the Burberry-check making a comeback. Recession or not, its still reminiscent of Chav-culture to me. And I cringe at the thought that I'll be seeing a proliferation of the Burberry check next season. :innocent:

This is probably the poorest Burberry collection Christopher has designed. It's still good, but fails miserably in comparison to his past genius shows.

Im so surprised that so many people dislike the shoes. I think theyre the best part of the collection!
I love this a lot! Burberry has been so boring for the past few seasons with their belt-with-everything look (which I love btw but it just got repetitive). This is a nice change.
The classic painting print is cool, I like it on those dresses.
I love the dress on Stange (how long has she blonde for?)
And the last look on Annabela is the best from the whole collection. Overall I think its an improvement and very forward for Bailey.

mayb i'm getting used to it ... but it doesn't disturb me this time ...
pretty like it ...

what i don't understand is WHY is he showing menswear ?! did he think there was not enough international audience during the menswear FW ?! is it the same than last month by the way for men ?

sth like "back to classic" Burberry... there's not anything really impressing, but it's a great collection!

^yeah yeah it was the same at the menswear ...
recession calls basics and classics at Burberry ...

regarding the men looks they are the same than during the Milan show ... except they took off the access. here (gavroche and gloves)

I ADORE this collection. It's so true to Bailey's formula with some slight progression. Glad to see some glimpses of the check! :)

But those shoes need to go, ew

it's gradually changing..
i'm very pleased/relieved
he had been doing one style for so long, and you can still see bits of that. couture fabrics like Spike said

and i loved all the simple ones in the first section of the collection
things seem softer, floaty.. and also use of chiffon(?)
and 'new' colours added to his usual palette

I actually love almost everything. Has he done something revolutionary? no. But for me he is reliable...although i feel like even that is a bit harsh to say. Overall this is lovely. The prints, textures...even the shoes are working for me.
