Burberry Prorsum Resort 2013

That's literally one of his most boring collections ever. I know Resort is always more commercial and all that but this is literally lifeless.

Deja vu all over again. What happened to Christopher? I don't get it.

For me, Burberry is less and less exciting now. Every time I see a new Burberry collection I have no excitement or even the desire to watch it again.

I have to say most of the Burberry collections are good-looking. But that's all. It's all about styling and the models help a lot! Without models who have THE bodies to wear them, those outfits are just plain boring.

I know trench coat is the essence of Burberry but I won't invest my money on those plain designs. I will buy something more innovative or exciting. Well this is just resort but I still can't help but saying out my feeling about Burberry which was once one of my favorites.

Anyway, I always love their accessories. :p

I like this collection very much, and I appreciate that Christopher is still incorporating knit sweaters into the collection (I also love the wedges). But I don't think a woman with a large set of breats is going to throw on that 2 pocket knit piece...just a little bizarre...

 I found that piece particularly questionable, much more appropriate in the Burberry childrens' range.

Well, in the first few looks we have paper-bag waists and a sack tied with a belt, concept: The progression of grocery transportation?
The paper-bag waist feels a bit done to be putting it on most bottoms of a collection.
Christopher needs to stop using silks and taffetas, he works best in the thicker, Burberry fabrics, anything he does in taffeta or silk satin looks awkward and irrelevant to the Burberry aesthetic. This is such an eyesore.
I see nothing desirable for men and very little for women; usually there is at least one coat, some sublime piece of tailoring, but there's just an awful attempt at a logo t-shirt for men and possibly that creamy coat bound in leather for women (though, nothing new).

Christopher is slipping, I don't want to see fifty versions of the same sick frill skirt again for spring, as with winter, thank you.

it's tragically boring. i'm left uninspired. this might as well be London, not Prorsum.

Just went and looked at bigger pics on style.com and it's just okay. I like the cropped jackets and some of the pants but it's all just so plain  Even reading the review, you could tell that Nicole was even bored looking through this. He lost his touch a while ago, I wish he'd stayed in Milan.

yeah, i think that London might be an issue. it's great for their heritage story, yes, but they lost their edge in London cause they're automatically THE standout, while they had to fight a bit more for attention in Milan.

i liked this collection too and that sweater that you mentioned was very wtf for me too concerning breast size:lol:

HQs (sorry, I resized the other pics and didn't realize that) could please some mod delete them? TIA
