Caroline of Monaco

I can't believe she is still with Ernst. I didn't think they would last. The blue suit for their wedding was cute minus the military type buttons, it also hides her baby bump quite well.

Like mother, like daughter.

She is one of my worst as far as wedding dresses go. Granted it was the 70's but that Princess Layla head piece was really bad. It was almost like a cheaper version of her mother's wedding dress. Yuck. She was a beautiful girl, I would have liked to see her in something more classic, oh well!

I agree that the dress was bad, like something you'd find at Goodwill nowadays. But it was the 70's, and it's virtually impossible to find a good 70s wedding dress.

Did Lagerfeld design it?

^ I didn't think Princess Anne's wedding dress was too bad looking and she did get married in 1973 so...not all of the 70's wedding dresses can be bad. I hope Lagerfeld didn't design it.

It's still pretty bad. Stifling high-collar and long sleeves - were the 70s brides all trying to look like nuns?

That wedding dress was designed by Marc Bohan (Dior).
