As i've seen that many members, including me, are interested in knowing which casting director casts which shows, I think it would be a good idea to keep a list in post 1.

Since stylists have a big vote in the casts as well, i'll add them.

As someone who's worked for awhile in casting, I can say that having a good eye for models is the LEAST important aspect of getting ahead in the business. I think a lot of the top CDs have mediocre taste in girls (Brokaw, Michelle Lee, etc.) and are poor judges of a model's potential. I remember seeing a pick list MIchelle Lee made a few years ago of new girls she thought would become major and only one or two out of ten went on to have any kind of success. My friend who knows nothing about modeling or fashion could have picked a better crop of faces. Russell Marsh had a decent eye, apparently, because he did discover a number of supermodels. The casting business is like many aspects of the industry in that it's mostly about personality and connections, not talent. The CD has to be an effective business woman, but discriminating taste and creativity do not figure into her job. She is basically an exec.

I agree that Michelle Lee is just a mediocre casting director, but comparing her to Russell is not fair. Russell thrived in an era with a lot less competition amongst models. He may have made Daria Werbowy, Gemma Ward, Lara Stone etc stars, but so could anyone back then because the market wasn't flooded with hundreds of new girls every season.

Also, Ashley "created" the contemporary versions of those models, e.g. Amanda Murphy, Anna Ewers, Julia Bergshoeff etc.

I actually believe she is still with him. Not that much as before but she is still putting all her favorite girls in the shows.
I think we can add Piergiorgio Del Moro with Tom Ford as he was the casting director for the FW2014 & the Boys & Girls ads.

Maybe Piergiorgio is involved as he is a Carine/Fendi favorite.
But Chanel shows are less exclusives than Fendi in a way so i believe that Chanel shows's casts are a combination of all.

For the stylist, it's done in-house. However, looks are always like Karl's original drawings.
