my sister is in paris and i'm wanting her to bring back a re-issue. are they running re-issues in the 227 or 228 in black with gold chain, or else in a distressed gold? i badly want one, but in bal harbour i only saw a metallic black which looks like kind of like a pewter...?

As for the black reissue, i actually saw a distressed black leather reissue with gold chains, they looked very very similiar to the ones produced for chanel's 50th anniversery...i saw it in Madrid Boutique around a month and a half go but it was a small size=) hope that helps...

Great to have this info posted here, thanks! Which year are the "old" reissue prices at the bottom from...2007? Mmmm if so, means Chanel hasn't increased prices (yet) for the 08 bags right?

A separate random thought, I noticed a lot of 2.55's (both '08 & '07) selling on ebay for above retail - why!?! aren't there still a number of them around at the Chanel stores?
