A separate random thought, I noticed a lot of 2.55's (both '08 & '07) selling on ebay for above retail - why!?! aren't there still a number of them around at the Chanel stores?

eBayers started selling when shops were still getting shipments in... but now I think most Reissues are sold out, at least those in the popular colors. Still, people seem not to be willing to pay above retail, I don't know why sellers are trying already...

It's a 2.55 reissue....maybe others that know more might be able to give you more details.

no, i think it's this year's Croc. like, faux Croc. as in, REALLY faux croc, as it's not even leather, but, what, poly? still retails for the price of a lambleather 2.55.

anyways, Chanel likes to use faux materials. there was a Ligne Cambon where the CC was made out of snake skin? remember that one? well, the snake wasn't snake, but faux leather snake. as in, yes, plastic.

birthdaygirl, I'm in agreement that Rachel Bilson's bag is the jersey croc bag that was released last season for F/W 07.

so i went to chanel today to have a general look and on a mission really
they had this CERF!! but here it is not referred as that so it might not actually be it but to me it is. in plain black leather with silver hardware.... loved it! not massive just a normal size, same size as my Lanvin Kansas.
also they had the reissue in big in black (on the lookout for another black bag)
so i was unsure whichone to get. the reissue does look too big in that size


does anyone have pics of the new CERF pls ?

It looks like the new clutch "2.55 Black Clutch with Optional Gold Strap", just came in to Neiman Marcus, at least from what I've read on tpf, so it's pretty new and I'm sure available
