Oh good supermodels, but Naomi and Linda can sit their tired ***es down for this one. I can't wait. His shows back in the 90s were so great. Kate Moss in that white bar suit outfit from Spring 95 was magical.

I love how this thread already has 12 pages and the show is still days away

and despite your feelings on the clothes, you can't say that dior HC isnt entertaining. im so excited :woot:

I had a dream that the show was basically lots of different themes relating to all the past shows...I thought I'd say incase it happened :p

Which makes me want to say...

I REALLY hope John doesnt do that annoying thing where there is like 6 mini shows in one show :hardhead: I really prefer something more like SS04 where the theme is the same througout...

And If Healy does do the music that he does something a little better than his latest soundtracks...

I just think that whoever is being invited to the party is VERY lucky.. I'd also like to fill out a bestfriend application.. haha

I had a very vivid dream that the theme was fruit. I remember a dress of purple grapes coming down the runway.

UHHH!!!!! That picture makes my heart melt .. amazing!
that venue fit Gallianos extravagant self pefectly.. I cant wait to see photographs and videos... Oh my what would one wear to such an event ?... I think I'd go crazy trying to figure that one out... :tear: I want to go.

So the venue is outside in the gardens? Or is Ghost playing around again?

To add to the dreams discussions  Last night I dreamt that I was in a beautiful garden with a rectangular pond with purple blossoming waterlilies and Romina Lanaro was actually catwalking over the water, posing towards me. She was wearing this gorgeous yellow floorlength dress in the theme of...there was no theme. It was original, and signature to the designer. There were only influences and no themes. I'm not sure if I was dreaming about the Dior show, but anywho :p I'd love it if he does that. He did it all the time in the nineties (see the SS 97 thread in History Of Style), so he CAN do it *prays*

It could be out in the gardens or in the building itself, but that picture Ghost posted is in fact the orangerie.

I have a hunch it'll be an outdoor presentation similar to his f/w 97 couture show at the Jardin de Bagatelle.

^ I had the same feeling, or better said, I´ve kept thinking about that show since I know this one will be on l´orangerie, but it is due to be presented at 8:00 pm, so that´s at sunset, maybe they will show outside at that hour and the lightning will play an interesting role on the performance (the whole idea of sexy, misterious creatures that resemble mythological ones could be well staged in a dark, luxurious garden), if it was inside the building, I would say, maybe they´ll go for that extra long runway they showed on fall 99, but this time with two extist, one on the left and one on the right, so models will come from both sides and pose togheter in different stops, I hope it will be about celebration, with an upbeat music track like in the old days (no more "llorando" themed songs), I will love to see movement too, like those bias cut circular skirts that models grab from each side and wave down the runway.
I hope they will celebrate Monsieur Dior and Steven with joy and lots of glamour!

Also expecting that.

Also hoping for that!

11 pages for a Galliano show? That hasn't started yet?

I feel ashamed for Versailles... the same way I felt ashamed when Chanel runway was in La Sorbonne. Thoses places full of history deserve better than this.
I guess now that doesn't make any difference, art is fashion, fashion is art, a cadaver in my closet and Galliano in Le Louvre... and yet people are complaining about how the world is becoming so shallow.
