ok i start guessing

Mermaids splashing in Versailles fountain
gown sequinned with aged copper plates and a lot of Newlook jackets
i foresee that the shoes will be the ugliest

i can see john going more classic, more trditional dior but spiked and more color. hey...it is an anniversary show

I don't care about the theme (not really... actually)
but i just want a big spectacle as he did in the 90s for his own label...
those shows were pure magic!!!!
and I'm really happy to see the oldmodels back on the catwalks, they're gonna help the young ones to have fun and really make it MAJOR!
when you look at the shows he used to do in the 90s the models were almost all extra-über-wunderbar and in his last show, he tried to do such a thing but I don't remember all the girls playing the game...

I want a SPECTACLE! this show is gonna be amazing!!!!
I want something like his Degas/Dancer show (in ss 1996), or the one of aw 1996 it was AMAZING! I will always remember those shows....
Make it MAJOR in Versailles, John!!!! Make Louis XIV be proud!!!!!

I hope they teach some of the newer models that it is ok to pose and model! Some of the models in the last couture show were so boring when it came to posing in that static format!

I know! Fashion shows would be so much more fun (esp the S/S ones) if the shows were a bit more Victoria's Secret like. Normal fashion shows tend to really reduce the models to clothes hangers, while in the past and at VS shows, the models had/have a personality. Fake or not, who cares, but when you're selling Spring Summer clothes, I'd want people to FEEL the lightness and happyness of a clean, sunny and warm spring day!

(That Dior S/S HC show was the STRANGEST when it came to that. It was dark, gloomy, red light everywhere, like the Apocalypse just started or something.)

Me too! But I bet that it'll be incredible! HC models to me always struck me as glamorous and not afraid to be different.

Oh I know! These models seems so shy these days! And about the Apocalypse-like collection....I had to watch that with a friend because we were scared! It left me feeling weird like I was covered in blood or something.

(Although I understand that S/S Couture needs to be more somber because it translates to F/W PaP. Look at this year's S/S Couture! All summery and bright, so, GOOD BYE to somber F/W PaP.)
