now that maurizio stopped producing cdiem, it will appear more and more on the market where he originally didn't intend to sell it, and you might get to see it become wild there.
be careful if you have to buy it there because it includes some tricky factors.
it's a bit like buying an old sporty car some smaller italian maker once produced.
it can be different from getting the one toyota or mercedes did.
cdiem (also lmaltieri) has three lines: men, unisex and women.
on the tag, the code is printed like FUC04.
C means coat, the last two figures the style number.
but the first two are important.
basically (even though there are exceptions) FU is unisex.
so FUC04 is unisex reversible knee length work coat.
FX men
FY women
each line has its sizing.
but men and unisex are close.
unisex is usually on the small side.
if you wear a size 3 of unisex line, you can wear a 3 of men or a 2, on the whole.
on the other hand, FY is quite different, however unisex the design may look.
you can think FY sizing to be almost the same as linea sizing.
a 3 of FY is equivalent to a 3 of linea.
(4 of linea is somewhere between 1 and 2 of FX/FU)
also before 2001 it's more complicated.

I don't know they have those brands for this season.
but they for sure used to carry cdiem, ccp, etc at degli effetti uomo.
so, worth checking anyway.

I bought a piece in 2006 from C-DM, which has 'work of 2005' on the label (we know how large their labels are/were)
however the code says; KUH65-WS01-99
also has 99 ringed right at the top by itself?
any idea what that might mean?
the label also has LMaltieri written on it, however is certainly a C-DM piece.
I agree with Surver, it's all so confusing, but such amazing clothing!
Incidently, i've now had my beanie some 18 months, worn it to death, still looks brand new!
love it till i die...

the accessory line can have different codes.
so can a limited piece.
also scaringly enough there is a misprint on the label very occasionally, or a mere mistake of attaching a label to a wrong piece.
though I don't think this is the case with yours.
