Zoe is a revelation and I agree about Donna Karan's saggy boobs-those deflated funbags have put in some overtime

What I meant with Kate Moss was that she didn't go all out like Katie Holmes did but simply added a few accessories that made her outfit touch upon the theme without making it look like a Halloween costume.
Women obviously want to be well dressed and look elegant and fancy without having to wear capes and masks. Like someone pointed out above it can't be easy to be all those things and fit the theme.
For example, in my opinion Naomi Watts looks like she's in character about to go on a movie set or something. She fits the theme but she doesn't look like her. For me that isn't very imaginative. It's too easy.
I would say that the triumphant tonight are those that didn't take the theme literally but kind of incorporated it in some way (color, accessories, prints etc.) into their overall looks.

agreed! they couldve just added a little more umph! so drab! but theyre were some who got it right
