^ Well she wasn't walking very long. It's like 15 steps from the car to the studio where she probably sat down in a chair lol. I think that's why celebrities are always wearing fabulous heels. They walk a bit, get driven, walk a bit more, sit down. Then they walk back to their car and go home. It's not like they have to take the train or stand on their feet all day.

i completely agree with this...i used to take the subway to work and had to wear sensible shoes all the time, because its like 10 blocks each way from home to the subway then like another 6 blocks from subway to work, now that i drive, i wear waaaayyyy cuter shoes since the parking garage is 5 feet away from the building. loved her black high heel sandals with the milk patterned jeans

My best guess is that she's self-conscious about her height and feels that heels give her a height-boost.

I think Dakota is just going to use a wig. I feel like since Kristen Stewart is known mainly for Twilight, she needed to cut it to prove she was really taking the role seriously. Otherwise people would roll their eyes and be like, "Oh, that Bella actress thinks she can be Joan Jett? Yeah, right." But Dakota is far more accomplished as an actress so people aren't going to question her casting as much. I've seen more people express incredulity at Stewart's casting as Joan than Dakota's as Cherie.

^I am almost 100% that she is going to be wearing a wig. There was a casting call a while back looking for a stand in for Dakota and it mentioned that she would be wearing a wig. I'll try to dig it up and post it. Plus, she refused to shave her head for a role in "My Sister's Keeper" and consequently dropped out. Something tells me she's very attached to her hair.
