Dark Circles and Eye Bags - Treatments and Suggestions

on the site it says that your skin might turn red but that is just normal because the area is so delicate..
uhm i don't know im more skeptical now.

yeah I understand, but it's really only a while. even with my utterly sensitive skin it was okay after a few weeks

I used a fulll tube of Hylexin and i didn't see any improvement in my dark circles at all, and i applied it twice a day every day. I think its just another over-hyped product tbh.

hmm... yeah it surely has something to do with the type of skin and dark circles

Yeah i suppose so. Although, i've had my dark circles like forever and nothing has got rid of them as yet and this is no exception. I still do think it is over-hyped and over-priced for what it is though.

I think the best thing to get rid of dark circles is a healthy diet and adequate amounts of sleep... neither of them i do :innocent:

haha same here!
I don't think there will ever be any miracle product which will make dark circles disappear completely

I had a product once that was called something with "cernor anti-cernes". I used an entire thing (what do you call that?) and it didn't help at all. don't know if it's the same one though

You mean an entire tube?
Mabye they changed the name or something. I don't think i will buy it as it probably won't work for me. I think i am residing to life-long panda eyes

yes I meant tube, it's the same as in French then. I wanted to write it, but then I was like "wait that's what they call the underground" lol
the tube reminds me of the auriderm XO one which was supposed to reduce redness (yes I have crappy skin and have tried tons of products).
I'm like you, I know it's hard to get used to it

^
Lol.
Well like i said, diet and sleep will probably be the only things that will get rid of them... Oh, and plenty of water.

I need to get glugging then ^_^

I lead a pretty healthy life and I drink lots of water, only the sleep part is a little hard to fulfill sometimes lol

Sorry to disappoint you, but they won't go away no matter how much you sleep or how much water you drink. Esp not if it runs in the family. NOTHING will get rid of them.

^ I agree, if they're hereditary they probably won't completely disappear. But a good diet and sleep will improve their appearance. Usually dark circles are linked with the liver. A good detox cleanse will probably help eliminate them.

Errmmm, no. It's linked to the kidneys. Detox won't help you. I really don't know where you guys get your info from  I have bad kidneys, and my doctors told me that my dark circles will never go away because of that. Adn, yes, they're also hereditary, lucky me. But they got worse after my kidneys went all crazy.

Well actually you can get dark circles from the liver. Liver and bowel congestion can cause toxic blood thus causing dark circles. Yes, the kidneys can give you dark circles too; i should know as i've had a kidney infection and they were significantely worse but do fade when it goes. And detox would help as it cleanses the liver and therefore helps the problem. Detox is a good idea anyway as it makes you healthier in general and it will help with circles, mabye not get rid of them, but definately improve.

I am getting lots of lines under my eye. :ninja: I know this is an irreversible process, but is there any product in the market that REALLY does significantly reduce them? :innocent:

Thanks! :flower:

i have the same problem and did the same cure but didnt work
i believe that computer makes them darker

any recommendation for a a good under eye cream?
i'm 22,don't have any wrinkles, rarely get dark spots or puffy eyes, but i think starting on an under eye cream is a good idea in your 20's

Use a gel if you have puffy eyes - never a cream. Eye creams can cause puffiness in the long run.
