Dark Circles and Eye Bags - Treatments and Suggestions

ou are not supposed to put anything like vitamin E under your eyes. Obviously its the most sensitive area and no matter what, its best not to put "home remedies" around your eyes if its not manufactured to be used there, as oil and grease is a big no no. (it absorbs) I could never even think of putting oil under my eyes.n However, anywhere else on your face vitamin E is quite good.

Kateelle, what do you mean by you're not supposed to Vitamin E? as in pure of vitamin E eye creams? Because my eye cream has vit. E... so i shouldn't use it if it's not good for the skin.

Has anyone tried a product called iQ RestorEyes which is supposed to get rid of puffy eyes, dark circles and reduce wrinkles?

I read in the February issue of Instyle that eating diuetics like asparagus and parsley reduces bloating including puffy eyes. Also, potassium-rich foods such as bananas and citrus fruits helps with the balance of fluids in your body. Says to avoid salt and yeast. That, I don't think I can do. Nothing can make me give up bread and baked goods!

its not a treatment... but usuing bare minerals "well rested" under our eyes is AMAZING

I'm interested in trying this, because I love the BM line. I wonder if it could be worn over a yellow stick. I use this one by Maybelline...

& I swear by it, because it really helps reduce the apperance of the green underneath the eyes. I ususally apply a liquid base concealer over it. I think I'll try the Well Rested es & see if it works. :flower:

I like olay eye gel. It doesn't help with lines, but really reduces my puffiness in the morning.

My dark puffy undereye bags are worsening in my opinion. The thing is, before I sleep, I apply an anti wrinkle cream. And somehow I don't seem to find a cream that works for anti wrinkles AND eliminate dark puffies. So can I apply both creams at night?

In the morning, I apply Loreal's whitening eye cream under makeup. It's supposed to lighten the eye area and provide some SPF coverage as well as "improve contours" what ever that means.

I have really bad inherited eye circles and I find that MAC Studio Finish Concealer works really well to cover them up. It's the stuff they use to cover up tattoos so it's very good at hiding dark colours and it looks natural if done right and if my skin isn't too dry.

for you darphin, the others aren't suited for young skin. (usually only more mature woman are buying orlane). valmont maybe even better for you, their products leave the skin feeling "juicier" imo, esp the Nature line (their young line)

another could be annayake's most famous (by customers, not advertising) eye cream.

also, swiss line's cellshock eye rejuvenating product is amazing too, only downside is it doesn't come with enough eyepads for the mask, but you can continue using the product as a serum.:flower:

speaking of concealers for the eyes, dior used to make a liquid concealer specifically for puffy/eye circles that worked miracles but has been discontinued.. i don't know why nobodys making this kind of stuff anymore. (maybe bc they want us to buy the more expensive skincare to solve the problem)

It's interesting that you bring up the banana and citrus fruit thing, because I have dark circles/puffiness under my eyes, and I'm allergic to bananas and don't really eat that much citrus fruit. I think I'll try eating more citrus!

Should I apply eye cream if I'm 23? So far I have always used the same mouisturiser as for my face but I don't know if that's ok. I'm not actually looking for an eye cream that will reduce something but more like prevent the obvious. Any ideas on a a delicate eye cream that makes your eyes look fresh? :)

Eyederma?

has anyone tried eyederma? i have read quite a few reviews, and most of them are positive... but i wanted to hear from you guys! :flower:
