Dior Homme

Actually I think Hong Kong these days is more Japanese influenced...everywhere I go on the street, in one block I will run into at least 1-2 people wearing either Comme des Garcons Play/Undercover/Bape/Junya Watanabe t-shirt...and the problem is they do not fit the image/style of those brands at all, it's like they just bought those items so they have a status symbol that tells people they are "in."

European high fashion is discussed in magazines, especially Dior Homme, but I do not see many people wear that stuff on the street. I have seen 2 people wear Dior Homme in Hong Kong this summer, one was a 50 year old guy wearing the black whiskered jeans, another was a total fashion victim kid, probably no older than 21, who was wearing a "YSL" logo t-shirt and the blue lurex jeans of S/S 05. Terrible.

I don't any of hong kong..
just anticipate that if there was britan ,it will be sophisticated place!

there should be a conference of philosophers
and anthropologues
on theme
is
Comme Junya ,Yamamoto are japanese

fade,I appreciate what you said

Dior homme is suitable to magazines than streets, clubs, workplace

probably no older than 21, who was wearing a "YSL" logo t-shirt and the blue lurex jeans of S/S 05. Terrible.

who deserve court subpoena more

bulgarian rustic nuveau rich with maybach car with diesel denim jeans and energy jacket
- there is a point -it is excusible that he is just from 15 year free personae

or hong-kong lad,in ysl t shirt logo
who got father and mother ,may be able to make some corections of his style

bulgarian rustic got nothing!

his mother is working in the vilage garden with 40 euro pension
father spend all day drinking in the local drinking hole...and smoking everyday most disgusting cigarettes and one his son comes father smokes cigar Cohiba...

Historically considerated it is honest to live in a place where the different styles still do their struggles,wars,fightings..

it is very beautiful sight to see in one persona all the archeology of his and of his circle style..
many personaes like me we seek our style deffinitions in early 80's ..that is why we hate all 90's
american gigolo versus beautiful woman...the actor is one and same..

but between me and this nouveau rich archeology based in 80's there is huge distance

if he growns with one style of RED bougeoisie half indigenous, half imported

me -Stray Cats...the cure...even duran duran and kajagoogoo...

depends on how nice the *** is. however, if you want to talk about kissing ***, just look at your name.. you name yourself after someone else.. it's sad, really... you'd make a great maid for him - you practically already are, but you just don't have the job yet.

did you mean substantiate? before you try to use words that are out of your miniscule vocabulary, look them up, ok?

Better than a name of a nobody don't you think? And wouldn't mind being a maid to a somebody then to a nobody!!

ooooo....vocabulary lesson from a nobody who obviously want to be a somebody!!

A kinda sad trying to gain admiration in here don't you think?

Hi guys, i am new here and i was wondering how much are the retail for dior denims in Japan? My mom is going tokyo for a business trip and i am trying to get the details. Anyone knows what they currently have there for sale? any wax denim? black washed?

On a side note, anyone has
FW0506 black wax denim W30 19/21cm hem OR black washed denims for sale? hit me up if you do. Thanks alot!

Speaking of Hong Kong, I visited there this past April along with Shanghai and I did notice they're full of Nihonjin-wannabes walking around in a terrible way. It was strange since at the time..., there was this tremendous hatred towards us Japanese and boycotting Japanese goods among young people because of the past history between JP and CH. I bet there were kids wearing Bape shirts and throwing rocks at Sushi bars. WTF. Personally, I had a terrible time there (since I'm Japanese) Starbucks wouldn't serve me coffee! Obviously I picked the wrong time to visit China. Well, I just had to check out the Shanghai DH boutique (for the interior space) and dude, I was disappointed. Bought a tux jacket though for a crazy price.

Disappointed by the DH in Shanghai? How? It looks like the other DH boutiques ^_^

I went to the Shanghai boutique back in June and to the Omotesando boutique in July... they seem similar to me.. or all DH boutiques seems similar in terms of material used etc.

But maybe i'm getting senile and can't remember a thing

Me usually being off subject. Reissued Luster waxed jeans 17 cm leg version, are these sold out already in the DH stores or are they stocked in larger quantities. I'm planning a trip to Paris in December, would I be able to purchase these then?

Are there any places in London who has these jeans as well?

Thanks

Dude, wearing an outfit straight off the VOTC runway is hardly the "thrown together look".

It's good to hear that you have met a girl who can appreciate your aesthetic, I have yet to find one...I really need a girlfriend or at least some friend with benefits :(

As for the metrosexual look, i am NOT metrosexual at all!!!! I consider myself the anti-metrosexual...the term metrosexual strikes me as someone who is putting too much effort, I prefer a more spontaneous, thrown together look...meticulously effortless, perhaps you might say ;) Like Hedi said, a dress shirt and shoes is more interesting at 9 in the morning! Ahh I wish I could roll into a morning class wearing the shrunken military blazer, white button down shirt half untucked, black bowtie dangling from my neck, and orange overdye jeans all from S/S 05 Dior Homme!

Whimsicalist, if you paid attention this thread, or to those in the msn users group you would know what VOTC refers to. Next time use the 'search this thread' drop box. Also, and with all due respect, most of your remarks are untintelligible. I don't know whether that's because your English is bad, or because mainly you're just a bad writer. Either way, your posts are a headache to read -- I'm sure I speak for most people who read this thread. They also belong on another thread, perhaps another forum -- there must be one devoted to pretentious thinkers, that would be perfect for you. It would be helpful if you limited your remarks to brief queries; if you want to write long gibberish posts like you've been doing here, save it for your blog, or an appropritate forum.

fade ,what's 'votc'!

apparantly this look obligate!
and as I understand here was aid that paris durind PFW is full with
anorexian victimized personages..
I really don't mean this!

I mean

Is there some pertinence opportunity in your world of values, relations

if someone buy clothes/style for 3 000 euro to be adequate on itself in it's social acts

when I walk in this look
yes it is
- attractive-30%
-"is this a man" -50%
-"where is my kalashnikov" -19 %
-only two or 3 atoms had appreciate this look!

but if I had to respond on my own question
here is a huge reason to be ironic

people use eccentricy when they are doing something

in my place "what I doing is just to look"

recently i flirted with very attractive soap actress..

she appreciate the look..
but this look is not exercible, applicable in nor region, area here..i hope in west ,too...

every questions outsuide the look and style here remains unanswered..
on the question why you are such?
respond is "because I am such!

and I have to be very attentive when I crticyze bulg celebrities
saing"she is known with fact that she is known"

Kind of an urgent question.

Does anyone know a place that is selling the White pants from S/S 05?
Yoox had them, but they are all sold out....$160 too

Also, I've never bought DH pants before, I am a size 28 waist, 34 inseam.
How would this relate to DH sizing?

Thanks guys

28 waist in... what jeans normally? levi's? nudies? apc? what.. ^_^

I think if you want that tapered look.. you should go for 28 in waist and 19 hem.. will fit you just sweet....

I wear 28 too in ACNE and Helmut Lang... so i went for 28 in DH and it fits well ;)

Yeah and btw. i think the DH boutique at Rue Royale has got them, i saw them there back in August.. but don't quote me on that one though ^_^

You could call them and ask.. but they won't do mail orders, or was it the big one at Avenue Montaigne? dunno

28 in Paperdenim/Citizens/seven...etc.

Be careful, as those brand tend to be tagged 2 sizes smaller than thery really are (presumablyfor the feel good effect it gives customers...) for exemple I wear a 30" in dress pants from traditionnal makers (i.e Zegna, Canali, etc.) but a 28/27 in seven, 28/27 APC etc.. Depending on how these particular diors are made you should be looking for A) 30 in 19CM or B ) 28 in 19CM. Some dior seem to be true to size in 19 and others not according to some posters.....
