I'll add this to the ever growing list of boring and disappointing collections this season.

The accessories used on the show were better than the actual clothes. I love all the scarves, purses and the boots were fab. In fact, there is one that I must possess. I did not like the gowns toward the end, a little too extravagant for my taste or much of the collection.

very. boring. and that saddens me because i love dolce. i wish they would find there voice again and not take the trends sooo literally.

I wouldn't say it's granny not even at D&G collection. i would say the east european folk (what is never a negative meaning) lines when the youth and old ages wore the same shapes of clothing, the different between them, were the colors, old ppl did wear only dark colours. (< i mean this mostly at D&G collection where my opinion is more obvious, clear)

Different of course, but why wouldn't be ?
If they want to try another things, they can. They are quite enough big names to change their own lines. And of course, why cannot they write their name into the history, they could design for any style to anyone. Maybe it's impossible but maybe they will make that.

Maybe they think they need innovation. Maybe they get bored of their own lines or they get bored, ppl about Dolce & Gabbana think, that 90% of sexy things and they didn't see more about those clothes and maybe (that's because) they get bored (also) they cannot shows they are great about other ways of makeing clothes, or maybe they just cool off. Or maybe it is just a great advertising to makes ppl corious, how is this new Dolce & Gabbana line ?
Who knows ?

But actually i will wait for the opinion of media. And of course i wouldn't say about these two designers who have great history they just doing something wrong.
What they did they did them perfectly to time to time, this is why they are there, where they are .

So far, I don't think its that bad. I like the scarves and hats; sorta of a French theme. Kind of reminds me of their early 2000 collections. The gowns look pretty too. I look forward to seeing the whole collection.

Tartan was very fashionable in the early 1970s, when David Bowie's Aladdin Sane album was first released.

Parts of this collection are reminiscent of the Bay City Rollers!

I really like the bag in that look, BTW.
