Yes well, all this stuff about Sienna is just dandy (;)) but moving on back to Edie...could anyone tell me where to actually find Warhol/ Sedgwick movies? They're not exactly easily available from where i've looked... I love looking at Factory/Edie pictures, but i've never actually watched a film.. any suggestions as to where i could look??
As for this apparently doomed hollywood film... i can only agree with those who think that it should be made with some unknown actress. After all Edie was/is an underground starlet and should remain that way IMO

She reminds me of Rachel Bilson a little

edie has such a cute face and a great smile...love that collage

She was extremely self destructive. Maybe that's why I'm interested in her?

It's so sad to think that she had so much yet respected none of it and ended up losing her life. :( She was pretty, though.

I'm sooo glad I found this site! I got some good Edie pics off here so thanks to everyone that posted them! I'm going to try to keep this thread alive so here's some of my favorite pics of Edie that hopefully, everyone hasn't seen before.

^ those are great pics, thanks for sharing!
i couldn't enlarge that second to last group of pictures, unfortunately

I was just thinking that. People should post more pcitures. Does anyone have any pictures of Edie doing runway at the end of Ciao! Manhattan?
Here it is. I could only capture it from my dvd and that scene is pretty dark so the pic is dark too.

I had no idea who Edie Sedgwick was. Reading this thread made me realize how much society romanticizes the behavior of self-destructive people particularly when they are rich, attractive and die young. She liked to fall asleep smoking and nearly set herself on fire and killed someone's cat-- how charming!

Does anyone know where to see/buy the films Andy Warhol made with Edie? I would love to see them. Thanks

You will not believe this.

There is an article on Edie in the Daily Mail magazine. Yes, the Daily Mail.

(I am now absolutely convinced some Daily Mail journalist has infiltrated this board) :(

Thanks for the new pics, everyone!

Yeah impossibleprincess...it's an interesting read, as I didn't know much about her in the first place. I tried to scan them and post them before...firstly the images were too many Kb's for me to post and then my scanner kaputted  I love this thread by the way
