Edie Sedgwick #1

^ They were rare up until a couple of years ago. :flower: When I first became an Edie fan, there were only like 10 photos of her online. You could barely find anything! Things have changed a lot.

So I heard there is a play called "Silver for Gold: The Odyssey of Edie Sedgwick" and that is was not very good. I was wondering if anyone ever saw it. All the reviews I read online were not very nice.

I hope one day we get a good Edie play/musical/movie/documentary....

Oh my...The Factory: The Musical.....how fab would that be!!!

Edie is iconic but do not put her image on toilet paper! There are a lot of inspiration to derive from but I think genuine artistry is copied and not easily replicated like a cheap Gucci handbag. Edie is not only beautiful physically, but by pedigree, and her reckless charmed life. It's not easy to emulate but who'd want to die to attempt it, I must say she is not easily copied by anyone in our age.

^I agree. the toilet paper thing is just ridiculous, her image should be preserved not exploited  she's not marilyn monroe, I don't want to see her everywhere. she's a little treasure ;)

Ok...I know I have posted this picture before....BUT....it is one of my all time FAVORITE Edie photos

I mean, just look at everyone else dancing and then look at Edie. She is just rocking out and doesn't give a damn!!!!....I LOVE that about her.:heart::heart:

^I know! I love the look the girl in the center seems to be giving edie hehe. I adore this one, and the outfit! no tights or t-shirt in sight and yet still undeniably edie ;)

I've personally never seen some of these, but I'm sure some of you might. If so, I still think they are some of the more rare ones...

i think the only picture i've seen in the set you posted, scarlettlover, is the last one. awesomeeee.

I've seen all the pics before. I'm not sure if we should repost so much. Tho it's nice to see the pics again:)

Sorry! I've been through all the pages, but there are so many it's hard to remember all that's been posted....

I must say the Edie toilet paper is offensive....I mean you know what you do with it, and I think that's disrespectful to Edie.

I think all those pictures are in the Jean Stein book except for the last one but i always like to see them again anyway! :)

Hey Everyone....I am in NY for a few days and wanted to know if anyone knew what street Edie's first apartment was on????? The one that she lived in that had the rhino and the horse sketch on the walll....I thought in Jean Stein's book it said somewhere on the Upper East Side??? But I'm out of town without my book....

I am also going to check out the Chelsea!!!:D

And love seeing pictures of Edie, new(if there are any left we can get our hands on) or old!!!! So keep on posting em....:p

haven't you read the book? a few of those are pretty popular (and posted throughout the thread) the last one not so much I guess...I do love that last one though, esp when in color, it looks very modern.

Klove my friend has my book so i can't look it up:( Maybe try searching it on google.

Or if you walk by a bookstore you could pop in and see if they have the book and look it up...just an idea;)
