Her hair was bleached. Obviously there were times that she had silver hair, but for the most part it was blonde, so all I'm saying is that it doesn't seem too likely that all she could "find was silver spray instead of the blonde" otherwise she probably would've never had blonde hair.

Andy told everyone to just be themselves, not specifically Edie. Considering they only paled around together for about a year -if even that long - and the fact that she wasn't even really famous (maybe in New York City she was semi-famous) I hardly think she affected him that much. Andy Warhol was famous in his own right, his art was talked about all over, he was extremely successful, had great connections; this all before he ever even met her. He would've gotten to where he was had he met Edie or not.

I'm gunna have to agree with you on this one. How long did they hang out exactly?? I've never known!

less than a year? I don't think that anyone is saying that if he never met edie andy would've been nothing, I mean that's crazy. I believe that edie strongly affected a lot of people, even if they only knew her for a short amount of time.

I love these pictures of her with her bouffant....it is soooo 60's!!! This is what her hair looked like before she cut it.

I always tell people who want to learn more about Edie to BE CAREFUL......cause once you discover her, it can be hard to let her go!

I know!!! When I go shopping, I always think of Edie. Especially with jewelry!!! I have so many outfits and things that are "Edie inspired", it is insane.

I have just watched "In Bed with Madonna" and she mentioned Edie!!!! She said that Warren B. told her that Edie visited him in a complete see through coat and nothing underneath and that they didn´t do "it".
