Not really loving this bag...I can't really see what it's got with Edie Sedgwick, but anyway..

There are tons of things named the "Edie". Shoes, dresses, purses, etc. Sometimes they have the Edie inspired look, but most of the time they are just named that......

I have a pair of shoes called "Karla".....that's my name : )

it's weird...but even a crop looks new...looks different. A different perspective of something old but lookin new. That's why I like big pics with HQ....you can crop it and get a new insight into something...a closer look.

I've always thought that she was so lovely with dark hair. I have the Jean Stein book and there are several great photos of Edie with dark hair. I would scan them, but my scanner has died.

prsgl, I agree completely! When I first discovered Edie and her uber-cool sense of style, I always fancied her with cropped blonde/silver hair, but now (for a while actually) I have more of an appreciation for her dark brown hair--especially with it longer. The photo in Jean Stein's book captioned "Edie, 1969" is incredibly beautiful. It showcases her delicate features much better than the peroxide cut. Her eyes really do look like big chocolate drops, without the heavy eye makeup. I also love the contrast of her pale skin, big brown eyes framed by long dark hair. She truly looks like a living doll like this. Her brown bouffant beehive was exquisite as well, and doesn't nearly get enough appreciation!

I So know what you mean French Cruller, I've always been fascinated with the short silver hair, but yeah she looks amazing with that dark beehive^^ Can't wait to get my pictures

These two pictures are some of my favorite of Edie with long brown hair. Well one is rather short, but she looks fabulous in both of these. She is STUNNING!!!

she is just so darling in the first one ^_^ it's so strange to see her with thin eyebrows and curly hair, she really looked great no matter what she did with her hair and makeup. she's one of the very few people who could get away with anything.

It's amazing how different she looked before she got to the factory. Edie was right when she said in PLRG that people don't recognize her, she looks like two different people. But she totally rocks both looks.

I wish there were more pictures of her without all that eye makeup! (Even though her makeup was fab)

Are there any pics from the Jean Stein book that haven't been posted? I'd love to see some more pics of her younger years..

Just for you Scarlettlover! A beautiful close up of Edie, pre-Factory.

My god these new pics before the factory are amazing~~~~~~~

The clothes she's wearing and the handbags are in vogue right and it's been 40 years, just incredible!!!

I agree that Edie was beautiful with dark hair, i think because her skin was so pale and always glowing. The second picture Klove posted is probably my favorite of her with dark hair and also the one's of her in the snow from the same time period :)

I don't think these one's have been posted but i'm not sure...there are too many from this shoot and they all look so similar it's hard to keep track!
