Thanks for posting. You're right, I'm not sure if I've seen them before or not..anyway great seeing them^^

The last one is new to me. Edie looks FIERCE in that shot. LOVE :heart:IT. Thanks so much Babydoll!

Just came back after meeting with Gerard Malanga..it was so weird to see him here, but he war really nice, but I had so little time to talk to him..totally annoying..and I actually didn't get to ask him about Edie, it seem pretty rude to just bring her up since it was all about him and his work..so yeah..But I tool a picture of him and me which I will post later..
The really good thing for then..was that I got to see some shots of Edie that I've never seen before, they were from 1964 I think and it was of her putting on makeup and dancing around. By the way she was wearing the outfit with the short skirt and black top, and those big black beaded earrings..the skirt was red even tho it looks beige or white on the black and white photos I've seen of her in the same outfit..

Sounds amazing loonaka!!!! How did Gerard look??? Was he nice??

I can understand not mentioning Edie. I would have loved to see those photos. And the movies in a theatre. You are lucky to have such a fabulous experience!!

Just for you Scarlettlover! A beautiful close up of Edie, pre-Factory.

Wow! I have never seen this photo before. Edie looks like a completely different person. She is so beautiful in this photo (not that she isn't beautiful in other photos).

He seemed very nice, but also like he wasn't used to talking to fans or something I don't know..But I told him that we liked him. And he looked very much like himself, a very good looking older guy :D.
I can't wait to see the other films in the theater, I wish I could film it or something so everyone here could see it..

How exciting! I would have been scared to bring up Edie because you wouldn't know how he'd react, if he'd be annoyed or happy to talk about her. There's a video of Edie twirling around and doing the splits from that photo shoot in the PBS documentary of Andy Warhol (i think it's still on youtube) and i was also surprised that it was a red skirt.

I don't think these one's have been posted but i'm not sure...there are too many from this shoot and they all look so similar it's hard to keep track!

Is there ANY way you can get these larger?
And have these photos ever been posted? I've seen different ones from these shoots but not these ones in particular on here. My apologies if they have been.

edie is a timeless icon.

i would definitely like to read her life story. what is the best book out there to do so?

That 2nd picture Ben posted is a picture of Edie wearing the same outfit I think as the one she was wearing when she was putting makeup on in the film^^
Thanks for posting

I love the fact that the skirt was red! Black & Leopard Print always come to mind when I think of Edie......I wish we knew what more of her clothes looked like in color!!!

wow... I haven't looked at my petition, which is in my signature, for a loooong time...
and I was happily surprised to see 685 signatures!

I wonder if I should send it in?

anyone here who hasn't signed it yet, do it! :flower:
