Yeah I don't understand why they wont let the fans get to see these films, it's crazy!!!

I would love to see Lupe but the one that would be amazing isThe Andy Warhol Story.....the one with just Rene Ricard and Edie......I know it is suppose to be crazy and that Rene and Edie both take turns playing Andy and showing how horrible and manipulative he was.......and they both get abusive and angry and a big mess.....

That one's in the Warhol museum vault along with all the other Edie masterpieces that we may never see. I read online the museum gives private viewings if you are doing research or something.....I would write a thesis on Edie just to get to see the movies!!!!

I feel you about writing a thesis just to see the films! It's remarkable that this incredibly famous man's work cannot be viewed.......Lupe was haunting....truly loved that one...it has this vibe, something about it, I really loved it.....

Those are the two I'd love to see most.I think NEVER sums it up.haha

when and where did you see it Lizzardqueen?

I posted about it a while back on this thread....here in London they were having screenings of Warhol films at the British Film Institute and I went to see quite a few including Lupe & Kitchen...I then tried my best to recall everything I could & describe it - like a review really - on the thread. The sound was so bad though it was incredibly hard to keep up with the conversation :( Vinyl was getting everyone laughin & Kitchen, mainly Edie & her little idiosyncrasies...it's really incredible sharing an auditorium with Edie on the big screen, you get all protective over how they'll react to her, haha!

i made this collage of jennifer garners smile beacause it reminds me so much of edies smile :D

I understand what you mean about being protective over Edie. Most people who met her said the same thing about her, you just want to protect her.

^^ very interesting thank you, luxie_dream!

You're welcome Klove, and v. interesting that people said they had a need to protect her too...it's almost like she's so unaware of what else is around her....in a whirl of her own world & dreams & thoughts...which is whats beautiful about her.....like she's in a dance and it's everyone else watching that has to keep an eye out for sharp edges or cliffs she could fall off or things she could jab herself with....

does anyone notice how tragic her voice changes from the beginning all full of life and happiness of the video i posted and then the end where she's talking againand it sounds like the whole scene and drugs really got to her i just noticed that

New Pics!

I spotted these on ebay a while back & had to have them. I recognize the photo shoots, but I had never seen these particular ones. Looks like out takes from the shoot. But anyway, I'm happy to share....edie sedgwick001.jpg

Wow, brilliant thank you, it's amazing how much of a difference size makes...in the first picture you can really see the scar between her eyebrows...and her necklace is looking more like real metal to me, man....but that's just me....

Stunning, very exciting, thank you!

Thanks so much for those scans!!

She looks so amazing in that first one. And it does look like real metal. So fierce..
