Her sister said that when Edie started to modle she had "piano legs" and that they "pounded" her legs into shape. But i think she just meant they really worked them out to give them more shape.

Also,I just saw that picture of Edie without makeup from screentests on the cover of a book so,yes-it is a legit picture but I must say-it is one of only two pictures I've found that I dont like.Its sooooo sad looking,her eyes are totally sad and shes so childlike its haunting.It just frightens me.But hey,I need some disappointment in my Edie obsession to keep me in reality.So,sorry if i ever sounded snappy to any of you-

Edie does not lok bad in that picture, she looks fabulous as she always did. It is a real photograph.. why would it be a fake? duh! Don't think sooo. Also, about Factory Girl I do not like the people that will appear i it , but I have curiosity to know how it all comes out. There is nothing wrong with that ...haham all those girls that say they will never watch it okey... it just spells PARANOIA.. hahha . But hey! everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I love Edie Sedgwick.!!!

I agree, she looks so young and innocent is that picture. I think she looks really cute in it, but that’s my opinion.
Didn’t you write in an earlier post that you have an Andy Warhol pop-up book? That’s great, I hope you can post some of the pictures someday.

Yea,I hope to post some photos maybe some of you havent seen-everyone is finding all of them quickly though.My Edie collection took me quite some time to find all while traveling...the computer sure solves lots of time.
We are all on this thread either for our LOVE of Edie or just because we dig her style and how she put herself together-its fun,this thread!

Her legs look so different sometimes. In some pics, they're short and in some pictures they look really long.

Perhaps it's all the dancing she did that lengthened them?

The Sofia Coppola short was called Lick the Star. It was about young girls- about 12 or 13- and the politics of their relationships. But this is off topic.

I always thought Edie was short, like between 5’2” – 5’4”.

In one of my Warhol books it says "Edie stood five feet five and weighed slightly more than one hundred pounds."...thats what it says but I have always thought she looks so much shorter and weighs Less than one hundred pounds.Her legs are long and lean though so that could make her look longer-taller to some.

I think she was like 5'4" and weight in the 90's. People who saw her from afar, like reporters, probably always said she was taller because she was so thin.

I think her legs were small but her thighs were normal, and she didn't really have a waist.
