Edie was good at being Edie. But here is some of her better acting...

that's so true, she is just so fascinating to look, I just want to look at her do her normal things^^

Korravi, thank you for posting the photo of Edie Sedgwick with the head scarf and oversized chain-link bracelet. It's a personal favourite from years ago--though I think Edie looks best with dark and longer hair!

^Love your avatar and also the pics being posted lately...she's sooo gorgeous.

I really love Edie's hair when it's short and silvery, prob because it makes her more special or something, I still think she's pretty when she's got dark long hair too, but she looks more ordinary like that IMO

I agree, although I do also love her ciao! hair, when it's very short and dark and messy. I love what a chameleon she was.

yeah I know, and I def love her self made style she had when she was with Andy and the factory, she's so unique and also very pretty, but of course she looks amazingly cute in at the time fashion :D

Richard Leacock: "My relationship with Edie was worshipful. I called Edie in August, 1967, and asked her to play the part of Lulu in the film sequences for Alan Berg's opera, which Sarah Caldwell of the Boston Opera Company had asked me to do...... Edie had never read the script, never heard of Lulu, had no idea what it was all about. I was certainly taking advantage of the fact that she was living through this."

This is the director of LuLu talking about Edie. LuLu is a character that represents total freedom and a carefree spirit and all the good and bad that goes with it. Who better to play that character than our fabulous EDIE!!!

Hello, fairyx. My avatar is of the beautiful Pia Degermark from the equally beautiful film Elvira Madigan. It's a Swedish (wink!) film released in '67 about a circus tight rope walker's illicit affair with a cavalry officer--it's based on a true story and is one of my favourites! The cinematography is brilliant and Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 soundtrack is lovely. With that being said, Pia's resemblance is Edie is incredibly eerie. Here are more stills from the film:

oh, I know who that is!
after making Elvira Madigan, she got some troubles of her own... including drugs, and I believe she got an eating-disorder aswell, so even more resemblance to Edie than just her face.
