Haha its more surprising she was there since the fact she will be the winner was quite obvious - in my humble opion she is the best czech export sice Karolina Kurkova and Hana Soukupova. She will be huge i am 99,9% sure about it!!! Who are the runner ups???

^ Of course she will be huge! And I agree her win was almost given if she showed up. But what will she do now? Finish her contract with 1 mgmt and then join Elite, or can she just leave?

I can't wait to see her in Milan and Paris!

sethii: I agree it's a little strange. I really didn't think Denisa would be there... Even if some of the other girls have probably worked longer than her in fact... But she already had her big break, so much success in short time, she really didn't need this competition. But big congrats to Denisa of course!!

Edit: There was no mention of runner-ups on yahoo. I'll look if I can find info somewhere else.

Why would she go to elite??? Does her victory means she has to sign with Elite NY??? I doub so it would not be a very smart move...

So we have to wait for the runner ups - i am pretty curious.

Isn't the winner awarded a contract with Elite NY, though (or am I confusing this with Ford Supermodel?). That's what they're all competing for. I have no idea if she has to accept it, but I somehow doubt they would pick her as a winner just to let another agency profit from all the buzz.

Anyway, congrats to Denisa, she's fantabulous, but I guess the most interesting thing this year is seeing the runner-ups.

That was my first thought, like I think it's been in earlier years, but when you think about it there is now this separation between Elite NY and Elite Europe, and none of 2005 winners were ever with Elite NY... So again, you're probably right, JB, I guess she'll just stay with 1. I was worried she'd have to go to Elite.

Yes thats right elite ny is now separated from the elite chain they are just another ny agency... and not the best one anymore as it used to be back in the days...

The outfits are a little bit SM like which is quite unapropriate for mostly teenage girls...
But i would like to know if there is a money contract - whith whom does she have it now - with the elite chain or???

Usually the top 15 get offered contracts and the top 3 get money contracts, and I'm pretty sure that's still the same. At least I'm certain the three winners still receive contracts worth quite a bit... and I guess these are tied to the Elite Network like you said. Either that or specifically to Elite Paris... but I think the former makes more sense.

Obviously Denisa won. I'm really confused how she was able to compete, but alas, she's a gorgeous girl. I just believe that she would have had a career regardless, and it would have been nice to see an unknown win. Congrats to Denisa anyhow
