That's what I thought. Too bad, too, Across the Universe could've really pushed her up.

I think Evan will be just fine. For one thing, there have been other actresses in the past who have done questionable things yet still received decent roles (ie. Angelina Jolie in her Billy Bob phase, Lindsay Lohan and her rehab).

For another, Evan is actually talented. And there aren't that many talented, relatively young actresses these days (ie. Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Jessica Alba, Hilary Duff, etc. would probably never be cast in a serious role because they're quite awful at acting).

As long as she still acts professionally on set, I think her career will be fine.

Lindsay Lohan is losing a lot of movie roles and she's pretty ditched from the Hollywood "Big ones"... Angelina Jolie was already a star, she's always acted like crazy and don't forget she's Jon Voight's daughter...
Let's just hope that, as you said, her acting skills will remain at the first place when she's questioned for a role...

Yes. Angelina always acted like crazy (Oscar kiss with her brother), yet she still recieved good roles. I don't think her parentage had much to do with Hollywood success. If it did, we'd see a lot more of celebrities' children in movies, and we don't (unless it's a cameo in their parent's film). How often do we see Colin Hanks, the Osbournes, the Cassidy kids in serious films?

As for Lindsay, I haven't heard of her losing any roles. She said she doesn't have any films planned because she's working on her third music album.

There are, of course, other celebrities who are "eccentric" and still work. Jack Nicholson, for example, refuses to miss an LA Lakers home game, so the producers always have to schedule filming around the Lakers' schedule. Hugh Grant had the whole Heidi Fleiss scandal yet still works.

Anyway, I think Evan's career is safe for now. Like I said, she's talented and there's not that many young actresses with that talent today. If she starts showing up late for work or skipping filming to go makeout with Marilyn, then her career is in jeopardy.

i highly doubt she wont be taken seriously if she goes to an audition and delivers, people talk about racism and sexism... i dont know what it is where people suddenly hate you and decide you are an idiot because of who you date but i find it all so awful and prejudice

^ That's blowing it a little bit out of proportion. It's not just who she dates, but the things about them. His last music video with her starring in it is just gratuitous and creepy.
