They made it into a reality show so every week they eliminate a couple girls Maybe by late September or early October the winner will already be announced

of course, a youtube ads in english is gonna bring loads of candidate in Lithuania Estonia
Ford used to work in Lithuania with one of the top agency there who during many years did great job for the contest.
Attracted by money offered, Ford got involved with an agency of doubtfull reputation n Lithuania,and let down the agency who built the contest there for many years. Seems they did a step back from the "new" agency they wanted to work with, , but now to advertise a contest in the "baltic states" seems a joke, how to advertise t in 3 countries which even dont speak the same language...

Sooo sad that the show has finally wrapped, but what a wrap it was! I hope you all tuned in to the amazing finale Saturday night.

Dina and I are so proud of the girls. They have come so far, so fast! And a huge congrats to Alecsa Nelson for winning the top prize. I know that she’ll represent Canada well at the world competition in Sao Paolo.

Austrian winners:
We are very proud to announce that Giuliana Gattuso, Xandra Röthel & Michael Pöllinger are the winners of supermodel - the next generation 2009. The final gala was held @ Museumsquartier / Hofstalungen on the 25th of September 2009. The decision was not easy which resulted to 2 female winners for the very first time, Giuliana and Xandra!!

Jaeger sponsors Ford Supermodel of the World

THINGS are progressing apace for the Ford Supermodel of the World contest. The competition has a new stylist, Rebekah Roy; VOGUE.COM'S Dolly Jones and designer William Tempest have joined the judging panel; and the competition also has a confirmed luxury clothing sponsor: Jaeger.

"With the return of the Ford Models Supermodel of the World search to the UK, we thought it was really important that an iconic British brand be a part of the event," Reaya Goldman, competition producer and Ford moddel scout told VOGUE.COM. "We're delighted that Jaeger has come on board. The model hopefuls are going to look amazing!"

The first casting for model hopefuls will take place on Friday October 23 at Il Bottaccio, 9 Grosvenor Place in London, from 2pm until 5.30pm.

The agency are searching for girls aged between 16 and 21 who have what it takes to compete at the highest level. The UK winner - who will be crowned in London in late November - will then go on to compete against the other international winners to take home the Supermodel of the World title.
