Givenchy S/S 2016 by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

I HAAAATE the low angle they chose for the photos which have debuted so far. It's one thing if they had shot low to capture some of the amazing architecture in NYC, or if they had done something completely artsy and weird with it, but used this way, with such standard backdrops and posing and all of that it's just distracting and sort of ugly to boot. That's some pretty mega casting to have wasted on such a bland concept.

Side note, can M&M please go back to their signature aesthetic immediately? Sure it got monotonous sometimes but at least it a) looked distinctive and b) made for some occasionally jaw dropping photos. This gradual toning down they've undergone since they become more famous and more widely used in the industry ain't doing them any favors.

Gemma looks exactly like how I remember her. Stunning. I'm glad M&M's filters aren't present here but the concept is over the top.

yeah i miss their vivid technicolors.

That new men's shot is hauntingly beautiful! By far the best shot so far. But Lineisy didn't stand out there. The other girl ate her with her attitude. Loving her.

Great concept, the logo looks are by far better than the first ones, n the girls blend in perfectly with the guys, very powerful.
