Goyard bags / luggage

does the st. martin have a zipped inner pocket or other small pocket on the outside? it's a small rectangular leather tab hidden at the side of the pocket, so it's kinda hard to see, I only found it by digging around in the pocket

St. Martin has an exterior pocket but it's not a small pocket. It does have inner pockets though. I'm going to look at it early next week since I have my bag locked up in the storage at the moment with its giftbox and such (I'm very anal with my stuff).

Btw, will the serial# be hard to photograph?:flower:

the serial# is almost impossible to photograph in mine... I'm used to close ups (macro setting) but the tag is on the very side which is already hard to see without tearing the pocket open, but photographing it... I would have had to ask somebody else to hold the pocket open or photograph, but I couldn't do it on my own. And my cam also refuses to take the tag clearly...

I was on vacation in Paris last week and went to the Goyard store. Sadly they dont have much of anything, their stock doesnt come in for another 2 months. I left empty handed:(

I too went into the Paris store (week before last) and found that shopping here in the USA, Barney's and Bergdorf's have as much maybe even more......I was expecting to see a whole lot more!!

One page 7, I posted my Croisiere 50. I already customized it with my initials. Now, I want to add the lines. My initials are in green and white. What color lines should I get. I was think Black/White/Black.

Here's my Croisiere agian. (This is an old pic. I have my initials on it now)

black, white, black would be very netural and work with all colors.....I've been thinking of getting a black bag w/ red, white, red stripes.... :)

Quick question for the experts ...

I'm thinking of sending my Goyard to Paris for painting, but it was not bought in France. When I mail it to Paris, can I still put "Items Returned" or something like that? I mean, do I need to include some sort of proof? I don't want to end up having the bag get lost due to technicalities ...

TIA:flower:

I'm sure there is some way of letting customs know upon shipping that it was purchased in the USA and is coming back to you.

I actually saw a guy carrying a Goyard Ambassade on the street in Chicago when I was there last week, which is quite surprising to me considering this is Chicago where you can't even find any shop carrying Marni or Viktor&Rolf for men. My question is, does Goyard Ambassade actually come with different sizes? The one that guy used looked quite thin and small, therefore very feminine and totally didn't match him (he is actually a bit stocky and even wears beard :ninja: ). I talked with him and made sure it was actually a Goyard Ambassade, but honestly speaking, it doesn't look like an interesting bag, it could easily be mistaken as a $30 bag bought at JC Penny or even worse place if someone doesn't know anything about Goyard. Actually this guy also got those stripes and initials stuff on the bag, which seems to make the bag look even worse to me.

They both seem to be the real deal however the Croisiere has somebody's initials on it. To be honest I would hate to own a bag that has someone else's initials on it.
