Yeah but at least we knew it before it got really big-the nice thing is that I doubt it will ever be AS big and tacky as LV is getting.

I agree.....LV has gotten beyond tacky for fall..that animal print, gold, and chuncky chain strap are too many trends in one bag!!

i know this is off topic but did anyone see the LV monogram groom??? I just saw it today and according to the SA, although it is not customised, the stripes are also handpainted. When I saw it for myself, it really reminded me of the Goyard stripes.

Hm? There's a serial number on Goyard bags? Is it on ALL the Goyard or just some? I don't recall seeing it on the Jeanne MM that I later returned or the St. Martin (from the boutique).

Ugh, you know what annoys me? The FAKES on eBay! They're selling Goyard for like $300 ... Makes it hard for the honest sellers who are selling the real thing AND it made Goyard looked bad ... Ppl are going to think that the real Goyard looked like those horrible fakes.

I need some advice. I'm thinking about getting a medium st. louis in green and having it painted with my initials. The problem is that I'm gonna be ordering over the phone and I'm not sure what color paint to use for the initials. I was thinking of getting it in ivory but then I noticed that there's a "shadow" color too and I'm not sure what other color would compliment both the ivory and green.

I think black, tho it's safe and boring, would look good as the shadow...My bag is green and black looks great with it!!!!!

st. louis owners -- i'm cosdering getting a gm. do you think the bag is durable enough to hold a lot of heavy things like books? the little straps look so tiny and flimsy i'm scared they'll break with too much weight!

Does St. Martin have serial number? Mine's authentic (got it from the boutique itself) but I cannot seem to find it.
